"Bricks to Clicks" event created a lively debate about how businesses are using the Internet

Moderated by Mr.Grant Smith of the Yankee Group, a panel of four speakers brought their perspective of how businesses are utilizing the Internet in achieving their goals.

Participating on the panel, Ms.Kathleen Stockham, Director of Advertising at OfficeDepot.com, provided very valuable information on how large businesses are extending their conventional business operations onto the web, focusing on how Office Depot provides a unique shopping experience with their Business Customer and how they implement technology in the process.

Mr.Brian Johnson, GM of Joes's Stone Crabs, shared his experience with the process of bringing the Internet into their operation. "We needed to start using the Internet effectively in order to manage our fulfillment and improve customer loyalty that has run on the family name for many years", said Mr.Johnson.




Nick Uresin, President/CEO of Amazia, provided diverse information on how small businesses are taking part in the digital revolution in order to utilize the web and compete with large businesses. Mr. Uresin shared stories on how small businesses are using smart and innovative methods to acquire customers and maintain personalized relations on the web using various eBusiness Solutions.

The event was held at the JW Marriott Hotel on Brickell Avenue, Miami and prepared in partnership with Miami.com and the Miami Herald
